About the Role

Tronox is seeking a safety-focused and motivated Shift Process Operator to join our team at the Kemerton Plant on an 18-month full-time contract, with the opportunity to progress into a permanent role based on performance and business requirements.

As part of our Western Australian operations, you'll play a key role in the production and refinement of titanium dioxide, an essential component used in products ranging from paints and coatings to plastics and paper. Working within a supportive and high-performing team, you'll be responsible for monitoring and controlling plant processes, operating and troubleshooting equipment, conducting quality inspections, and ensuring production targets are achieved safely and efficiently.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic industrial environment, solving problems, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. You'll bring a strong commitment to safety, an eye for detail, and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving operational issues.

This is a residential role based at Kemerton Industrial Park. For fatigue management purposes, applicants must reside within a 40-minute commute of the site.

The position operates on a highly desirable short sportsman roster, working 7 shifts per fortnight with every second weekend off, followed by an exceptional 4 weeks of paid leave after every 16-week cycle.

 

About You

  • Proven experience as an Operator with processing and monitoring exposure preferred but not required.
  • Must be fit to perform physical work and be comfortable to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Demonstrated ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts.
  • Strong technical ability, problem-solving skills, & attention to detail.
  • Positive attitude with effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Must be comfortable working in a hazardous environment. Wearing task appropriate PPE, clean shave policy applies
