About the Role
Reporting to the Regional HR Director, the Compensation & Benefits Lead is responsible for leading payroll, remuneration and benefits services across Australia, ensuring employees are paid accurately, on time and in compliance with legislative and company requirements. Based at our Kwinana Pigment Plant, this role provides both operational leadership and strategic support to deliver effective compensation and benefits programs that attract, retain and engage talent.
Leading a regional payroll team, you will oversee end-to-end payroll operations, including payroll processing, deductions, reconciliations, direct deposits and payroll-related reporting. You will ensure all payroll, remuneration and benefits activities are delivered in line with relevant legislation, internal policies, audit requirements and service standards.

You will analyse market trends, remuneration data and program costs to provide insights and recommendations that support business objectives and maintain external competitiveness. Working closely with regional and corporate stakeholders, you will help drive continuous improvement across systems, processes and policies while ensuring effective governance and risk management.
Using your strong analytical skills, you will prepare reports, support remuneration reviews and surveys, contribute to position evaluation activities and provide data-driven recommendations to leaders. You will also act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, providing guidance on payroll matters, salary administration, deductions and benefits programs.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced payroll and rewards professional to influence employee experience and business outcomes while leading a critical function within a dynamic and complex operational environment.
