About the Role
We are seeking a Security Officer with strong administrative capabilities to join our team based across our two pigment plants at Kemerton and Australind. This full-time position is offered on a maximum term contract until September 2027, working a 38-hour week.
As the first point of contact at our sites, you will manage access control, monitor the movement of people, vehicles and goods, and operate the weighbridge to record incoming and outgoing loads. You will also provide administrative support through data entry, record maintenance, telephone enquiries and report preparation. Additional responsibilities include participating in Drug and Alcohol testing programs, coordinating pool vehicle bookings and maintenance, and assisting with audits and documentation updates.
Success in this role requires excellent communication and customer service skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to balance security requirements with a professional and welcoming approach. This position operates on alternating weekly shifts between the Australind and Kemerton sites.
About You
To be successful in your application, you will ideally need to possess:
- Strong communication skills
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office programs and other systems such as Gallagher/Cardax, SAP and CCTV surveillance systems
- Demonstrated data entry skills
- Previous experience in a similar customer service or security role (desirable)
- Completion of HLTPAT005 Collect specimens for drugs of abuse testing or similar (desirable)
- Current (or ability to obtain) Security licence
